Nota del presidente de FECO a propósito del 9th Tehran International Cartoon Biennial

Peter Nieuwendijk, presidente de FECO, facilita la siguiente nota a propósito del boicot promovido por un grupo de dibujantes iraníes, en respuesta a los últimos acontecimientos ocurridos en su país, el fraude electoral y la posterior matanza.

Iranian cartoonists boycott 9th Tehran International Cartoon Biennial due to the events happened and people killed after Iran's post-election turmoil and in sympathy with Iranian people. These cartoonists believe that after all of those horrible events and lack of social and cultural mirth, it's NOT the time to participate in 9th Tehran International Cartoon Biennial and make people laugh.
So we won't take part in this cartoon biennial and ban any possible cooperation.
